The 10 year Indian tourist visa is valid for 10 years. This does not mean that you can reside in India for 10 years, but the visa gives you a US citizen.Multiple entry for 10 years.The maximum time that a US citizen can reside in India on a 10-year visa is 6 months. - 1 year and 5 year visas -multiple entry. Allows for a continuous stay during each visit not to exceed180 days per entry, US and Japanese citizens can stay continuously during each visit from180 days in total, unlike other nationalities that can only stay90 days per entryat once.
All 3 types of visa must be used within 120 days (4 months) of issuance. The 1-year visa is valid for1 year after issuanceand the 5-year visa is valid for5 years after issuance. This information must be printed on your e-Visa.
